Divided Regardless
What Religion does best
I've learned more about God and what it is from more people who don't believe in God than people who claim they do. I've learned even more when I started seeking it myself.
The journey on seeking him wasn't an easy one. I've been scared, worried, hurt, let down, pissed off, couldn't catch a break, and even had doubts. I experienced all those things while seeking him and when I look back, I can see how it was with me the entire time pulling me through cause I was in it's word and it was helping me spiritually.
Religion! I hate that word cause it divides people, it hinders people from others when we sell ourselves short because we can learn from anybody and everybody despite differences.
I never knew anything about religion until I had a debate with my brother "ste" about science. He got into all this stuff I knew nothing about, I only knew Christ and the Bible. Getting into those debates with him and losing got under my skin, but I found it interesting so I started reading on other religions, figuring out what makes sense...what connects.
After getting all sides of the story, I've come to a dead end. We are worshiping the same God but looking down upon others who chose to do it differently.
We are all human
Every religion has its dirt, but we all share the same alter, how can we not see that? The same dirt we all come from and will one day return to. Ashes to ashes dust to dust right?
A god is a god, you can put a name on it all you want but at the end of the day a God is what it is and it's all about your own personal relationship
Maybe I'm being too aggressive with this, maybe I got under your skin with that.
How do you think others feel when you judge period? In every religion the one thing they have in common or should have in common is treat people the way you want to be treated.
Why do I read the Bible?
It's for my spirit and I believe its the proof.
How can we believe in any God if it wasn't for his only son who physically walked this earth and physically did what he did? I read the bible but i'm no expert, I will say regardless if we read the bible or not we all will have experiences in life that we'll have to learn from to prepare for the next time or keep going through it until we get it right.
That's what I believe in my heart, coming to this conclusion because I seek for knowledge myself and wasn't influenced on what others say or said but maybe inspired.
I'll never shun or disrespect any religion and never will, I'm all for what's in my heart, the same heart I share with non believers.
I don't know everything, but why can't we love all even if we think differently? I'm sure what we're getting from God isn't what he really meant cause we're so divided as individuals and countries. Some people who don't believe in God because of that reason, can you blame them? I never did but trying to understand them made much more sense than debating with them. My faith in my savior is indestructible so I can explore the way I do, and all I see is a lot of confusion on what we interpret and press upon others when it really boils down to leading by example.

Lets be honest here..
How many of you judge? How many of us got our life together? Whats the difference between my wrongs and yours when they're both wrong? Many people judge but don't know anything, many people praise but at certain time, many people point the finger but don't like it pointed at them. Bible studies and church services last an hour, holidays come once a year, and we only show praise publicly for those reasons. And last but not least many people say they love the lord but don't do their homework! Am I judging or are these facts? Is it you or is it religion?

How strong is your faith? Can you elaborate on your perspective? I'm never uncomfortable with this topic knowing that my relationship with the God we all serve is solidified.
